In Los Angeles, California born, Jolie is the daughter of actors Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand. She is the niece of Chip Taylor, sister of James Haven and the goddaughter of Jacqueline Bisset and Maximilian Schell. On the side of his father, Angelina Jolie Czechoslovakia and German ancestry, and his mother’s side she is French Canadian and Iroquois is considered part. However, Voight has been claimed, Bertrand “not seriously Iroquois,” and she said, to give his ex-wife’s exotic background.
